Norma Hohlfeld, 76, died Monday, January 23, 2012, at Methodist West Hospital in West Des Moines, Iowa. Norma was born on October 27, 1935 in Winnebago, Minnesota to Grace (Adams) and John Talley.

   Herman Sylvester Wilkes, 81, of Knoxville, Iowa, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012. He was born to Myron and Lola (Bowery) Wilkes on January 13, 1931, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

   Robert Darren Taylor, age 40, of Mount Ayr, Iowa, died January 13, 2012. He was born May 25, 1971 at Ringgold County Hospital to Alan and Gerri (Caldwell) Taylor.

  Sue A. Smith, 79, of Rock Island, Illinois, formerly of Coal Valley, Illinois, died quietly at home on Monday, January 16, 2012, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on April 30, 1932.

   Lori (McAninch) Yeager, 45, of Mount Ayr, Iowa and a former resident of Albany, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 13, 2012. Lori, the daughter of Eugene and Shirley (Jones) McAninch was born August 10, 1966 in Albany, Missouri. 

   Elsie Cleone (Johnson) Thompson, daughter of  William Albert Johnson and Mary Edith (Lutman) Johnson, was born in Tingley township, Ringgold county, Iowa August 13, 1920. She was 91 years, four months and 25 days of age when she passed from this life January 7, 2012 at the Clearview Home in Mount Ayr, Iowa

   Dennis R. Duffield, 78, of 2020 Lauren Drive S.W., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Saint Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Born February 20, 1933, in Kellerton, Iowa, Dennis was the son of William “Ray” and Pearl (Harris) Duffield.

   Louise Knapp Addison was born March 30, 1923 in Lowellville, Ohio to Frank and Kathryn (Hogan) Knapp. She was the 10th of 13 children in the family. Louise passed away on January 3, 2012 at the Clarinda Regional Health Center in Clarinda, Iowa.

   Larry Dean Jackson, age 55, of Kellerton, Iowa, died January 7, 2012 in Ringgold county, Iowa following a motor vehicle accident. He was born on December 25, 1956 at Decatur County Hospital in Leon, Iowa to Clarence Ivyl “Ike” and Verda Louise (Mallatt) Jackson.

  Jerry Willis was born January 3, 1934 in a farmhouse west of Maloy, Iowa to Loren O. and Dallas M. (Snethen) Willis. He passed away December 31, 2011, after a seven-month battle with cancer.
