Jack Edgar Moore, son of Arthur Roy and Sarah Blanche (Richards) Moore, was born May 8, 1922 at home north of Mount Ayr, Iowa on Highway 169.   Jack passed away June 12, 2011. 

1.     Karl Oren Gepner was born October 15, 1933 in Garnett, Kansas to Oren “Skip” Gepner and Cleo Hawley Gepner. He departed this life at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr, Iowa on Tuesday, June 14, 2011.

      Elvin Doyle Campbell was born May 20, 1933 on a farm in Taylor county, Iowa to Rev. Ward and Carmen (Barnes) Campbell. Doyle passed away June 14, 2011 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

    Margaret Ellen (Barker) Ballinger, 67, of Glenwood, Iowa entered into eternal rest on June 13, 2011 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was born February 1, 1944 in Creston, Iowa to Weldon and Lois (Vogel) Barker.

  Clyde Edgar Brand was born on January 17, 1923 in Madison township, Clarke county, Iowa. He passed away at his home in Mount Ayr, Iowa on June 10, 2011 at the age of 88 years.

   Howard Eugene (Pete) Burgher was born May 14, 1951 at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr, Iowa to Howard and Noma (Hull) Burgher of Tingley, Iowa

   Lola Louise “Lu” (Wright) Johnston passed away May 22, 2011 in Denver, Colorado. A memorial graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mount Ayr, Iowa at a later date. Lu was born January 22, 1919 in Caledonia, Iowa to Elba Clyde and Lola Blanche Opdyke Wright.

   Opal Marie Webb, formerly of Mount Ayr, Iowa, passed away on June 8, 2011 in Loveland, Colorado.  Opal was born to Joshua and Merzetta (Fender) Hillebran in Sharpsburg, Iowa on February 23, 1923.

   Juanita B. Horst, 87, died peacefully at Mount Ayr Health Care on June 9, 2011. She was a resident of Kansas City, Missouri for 50 years. In recent years she resided in Mount Ayr, Iowa.

  Lucille Fischer, 90, died on June 1, 2011 at Southridge Nursing and Rehab in Marshalltown, Iowa. Lucille was born Sept. 19, 1920 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to John and Louise Elizabeth (née Mueller) Barth.
