Michael Wayne George was born November 23,1951 to Wayne and JoAnn (Hanks) George at the Ringgold County Hospital, Mount Ayr, Iowa and left his family after a short battle with cancer at his home in Glenrock, Wyoming with his mother, daughter Erika and his wife at his side on September 2, 2010 at the age of 58.

Ed Hutchinson, 67, of Diagonal, son of Glen and Doris Hutchinson, was born December 10, 1942 in Mount Ayr, Iowa. He passed away September 12, 2010 at Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr. 

  Julia Smith was born in Jefferson township, Ringgold county, Iowa on July 16, 1923 to Edith (Clymer) Smith and Henry T. Smith. She passed away on September 3, 2010 at Lenox Care Center in Lenox.

  Genevieve Marie (Lockwood) Rogers, the second child of Jacob and Minnie (Rains) Lockwood, was born October 31, 1911 in Woodland township, Decatur county, Iowa. She died at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr September 1, 2010.

  Robert Bruce “Bob” Pratt, son of Clark and Effie Pratt, was born July 26, 1921 at the family home in Lotts Creek township, Ringgold county Iowa. He died August 21 at the age of 89.

   Pauline Minnick, daughter of Sam and Florence (Davenport) Culver, was born in Athens township in Ringgold county on March 20, 1919. Pauline passed away on September 2, 2010. 

   Opal Lorene Rice Goodale, first child of Douglas and Minnie (Minnick) Rice, was born May 14, 1917 near Ellston, Iowa. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 23, 2010.

   Vesta Doolittle, 85, died on August 8, 2010 at home. Vesta was born on September 1, 1924 in Lamoni, Iowa to Harvey and Mabel Corll.

   Alice Sophia Klimek was born January 8, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois, the second child of John and Maria (Kozinski) Klimek. . Alice died on August 18, 2010 at Greater Community Hospice Home in Creston, Iowa.
