Byron “Gene” Eugene Gunsolley was born March 18, 1919 in Mondamin, Iowa and departed this life on September 21, 2009 at the Clearview Nursing Home in Clearfield, Iowa. 

   Nola Lavon Adams Swietlik was born March 23, 1933 in Ringgold county, Iowa. She departed this life at the Ringgold County Hospital on September 19, 2009 at the age of 76 years, nine months and 19 days.

Darrell Eugene Monk, 84, of Clearfield, Iowa departed this life on August 31, 2009 at the Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston, Iowa. He was born September 29, 1924 in Clearfield, Iowa to Claude and Eva (Greer) Monk.

  Ruby Naomi Anderson was born on a farm five miles south of Mount Ayr, Iowa on January 19, 1921. Ruby passed away on September 15, 2009 at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr.

  William “Joe” Barber, 26, of Creston, Iowa, formerly of Osceola, Iowa, died Sunday, September 13, 2009, from injuries sustained in a car accident south of Stuart in Adair county. He was born on August 5, 1983 at Creston, Iowa.

   Ada Mae (Johnston) Bloomstrand, age 81, passed away on September 15, 2009.

 John Hoffman, 67, Humansville, Missouri, died Saturday, September 5, 2009. The son of John and Cora L. (Wedgeworth) Hoffman, he was born in Roseburg, Oregon March 22, 1942.

  Lyle L. Thomas, age 66 of rural Lamoni, Iowa, passed away on September 10, 2009 at home following a long battle with cancer and strokes.

 Barbara Ann Wilkey, daughter of Buck and Rosella (Boham) Howard, was born May 27, 1956 in Newton, Iowa. While fighting cancer, Barbara passed away suddenly at her home on September 3, 2009.

Bruce V. Travis, Sr., 80 of Creston, Iowa died Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the  Greater Regional Hospice Home in Creston. He was born May 10, 1929 in Holdrege, NE.
