Charles Morton Cobb was born November 5, 1916 on the home farm two miles south of Blockton, Iowa and spent his entire life in the community except for four years in the Air Force. He passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009, in the loving care of his family and staff at Marian Home and Trinity Hospice.

Charles Francis Foster, 90, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away January 1, 2010, at the Veteran’s Home in Warrensburg, Missouri. He was born March 4, 1919 in Mount Ayr, Iowa.

Richard Dwayne Saville, son of John William and Ethel Louise (Ferris) Saville, was born December 2, 1937 at Blue Rapids, Kansas. He died suddenly at his home in Clearfield on January 9, 2010. 

 Anna Margaret Larson, 86, of Mount Ayr, Iowa died January 8, 2010 at the Ringgold County Hospital. She was born to Russell and Hazel (Dugan) Hogue on August 14, 1923 in rural Kellerton.

Esther Maurine Muir Bailey was born on a farm north west of Clearfield, Iowa on December 3, 1916. She passed away on December 31, 2009 at Clearview Home in Clearfield.

 Max Eugene (Ike) McGehee, son of Kenneth and Loueva Shaughnessy McGehee, was born June 12, 1932 in Mount Ayr, Iowa. He passed away at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr on January 2, 2010, after a courageous four-month battle with cancer, at the age of 77 years.

Jerry Lee Campbell was born June 18, 1956 in Corning, Iowa.  He died December 24, 2009 at his home in Clearfield from heart disease. 

Darrel D. Campbell, 66, of Leavenworth, Kansas passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 1, 2009, in El Valle, Panama.He was born May 3, 1943 in Allendale, Missouri, the son of William and Fern (Monday) Campbell. 

 Mildred L. Rinehart was born March 5, 1906 near Allendale, Missouri to Bert and Bessie (House) Wilson. She departed this life on December 19, 2009 at the Mount Ayr Health Care Center in Mount Ayr, Iowa at the age of 103 years.

Rex Ellis Brown was born on December 28, 1919 to Allie and Hazel Brown of rural Blockton, Iowa. Rex left his earthly home on December 9, 2009.
