Charles Morton Cobb was born November 5, 1916 on the home farm two miles south of Blockton, Iowa and spent his entire life in the community except for four years in the Air Force. He passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009, in the loving care of his family and staff at Marian Home and Trinity Hospice.

 Max Eugene (Ike) McGehee, son of Kenneth and Loueva Shaughnessy McGehee, was born June 12, 1932 in Mount Ayr, Iowa. He passed away at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr on January 2, 2010, after a courageous four-month battle with cancer, at the age of 77 years.
