An exciting victory over North Sentral Kossuth in the first round of the state basketball tournament Monday afternoon means the Raiderettes will be playing again Wednesday, March 3, at 8 p.m. in the semifinal round of the tournament.
The Raiderettes defeated North Sentral Kossuth 54-45 in the first round game Monday afternoon. After a close first half where the Raidrettes trailed 23-22, the girls outcored the fifth-ranked NSK team 17-7 in the third period to make the difference in the game.
