Horace Greeley Bonebrake

Horace Greeley Bonebrake, last surviving child of Samuel and Emily Bonebrake, was born near Knoxville, Marion County, Iowa, June 6, 1856. In his boyhood he moved with his parents to Ringgold County. where he grew to manhood.

He was united in marriage to Alpha L. Ayers, of Union County. To this union were born six children, Harvey, who preceded him in death, Arthur H. and Rollo W. of Diagonal, Fred V. of Monessen, PA., Willard F. of Des Moines and Mrs. Clara Parker of Redding.

At the age of 38 he was converted and joined the church. Since that time as long as his health would permit, he was a sincere worker in the church.

He departed this life March 15, 1943, at the age of 86 years, nine months and nine days. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife and children, 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many friends.
