John Hoffman, 67, Humansville, Missouri, died Saturday, September 5, 2009. The son of John and Cora L. (Wedgeworth) Hoffman, he was born in Roseburg, Oregon March 22, 1942.
Moving to Humansville in 1997 from LaMotte, Iowa, he was a member of the Humansville Community of Christ. He was a retired copier service technician, custodian at the Humansville School and U. S. Army veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0028.
His parents and his wife, Dorathy Hoffman, preceded him in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Shawn Sibley and husband Dean of Humansville, Missouri, Christine Barber and husband Dan of Mount Ayr, Iowa, Elizabeth Miller and husband John of Bernard, Iowa and Rachel Tuttle and husband Tom of Kansas City; five sons, John Hoffman of LaMotte, Iowa, Tim Hoffman and wife Michele of Kansas City, Jeff Hoffman and wife Lea of Kansas City, Jimmy Hoffman and wife Lisa of Kansas City and Terry Hoffman and wife Ellen of Kansas City, and a host of grandchildren.
Memorial services were held Saturday, September 12, 2009, at Murray Funeral Home, Humansville.
