Gracie Hohn December 18, 1925 – June 27, 2010

Gracie Hohn, daughter of Lena Evelyn Lacy and Thomas Stanley, was born December 18, 1925 at Blythedale, Missouri. She graduated from Blythedale high school. On December 12, 1947, she married William Dean Hohn. Gracie was a homemaker and worked at various restaurants in Mount Ayr.

Gracie passed away suddenly on June 27, 2010 at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, William Dean Hohn, Jr.; two brothers, Lloyd and Truman Stanley, and one sister, Letta Mae Cordle.

Survivors include her two daughters Linda (Bob) Bryan of Sturgis, South Dakota and Lena Kreutzer of Cary, Illinois; granddaughters, ReNell Lynn (Wayne Roybal) Dillenburg, Amy Norene (Mark) Roybal, Billi Jo Kreutzer, Amanda Jane Kreutzer, and three great-granddaughters, Ciprianna Roybal, Alena May Roybal and Laura Roybal.

Funeral services were held at the Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home in Mount Ayr on Thursday, July 1 with Rev. Skip Rushing officiating.

Casket bearers were Billi Jo Kreutzer, Amanda Kreutzer, Ciprianna Roybal, Wayne Roybal, Bob Bryan and Eugene Dillenburg.

Gracie was laid to rest in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Mount Ayr, Iowa.
