Georgia Dale (Webb) Campbell December 29, 1915 – April 21, 2011

Georgia Dale (Webb) Campbell was born on a farm near Hatfield, Missouri at the home of her parents, Charles Dee and Jessie May (Marshall) Webb on December 29, 1915 and departed this life on April 21, 2011 at the Mount Ayr Health Care Center.

Georgia was united in marriage on February 23, 1937 to Nicholas Harvey Campbell in Bethany, Missouri. To this union two boys were born, Larry Joe and Alan Lynn. Nick passed away January 29, 2007, just one month shy of 70 years of marriage.

Georgia was a hard-working farm wife and also worked at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr for a few years. Georgia was a 50-year member of Order of Eastern Star of which there were few offices she failed to hold. And if anyone knew Georgia, she was very proficient in all of her Eastern Star work. She was also a member of the Kellerton United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Women Society of which she’d held many offices and was very active as long as her health would let her.

Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Nick; son, Alan on March 29, 1987; her parents; parents-in-law; brothers, Kyle and Wylie Webb, and sister, Thelma Webb.

Left to mourn her passing include her son, Larry Joe and friend Linda Wilt of Mount Ayr, Iowa; grandchildren, Kurtis (Clara) Campbell of Osceola, Iowa, Kevin Campbell of Mount Ayr, Iowa and Darren (Janette) Campbell of Mount Ayr, Iowa; great-grandchildren, Casey Campbell, Cacia Campbell and Erin Campbell; stepgreat-grandchildren, Makenzie Virden and Kimberly Love (Robbie) Reaves; brothers, Richard Webb of Villisca, Iowa, Gary (Iris) Webb of Jefferson, Texas and Dennis (Barb) Webb of Jefferson, Texas; sister-in-law, Helen Campbell of Mount Ayr, Iowa, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
