The Mount Ayr bowling teams opened the winter season with a home meet against Lamoni-Central Decatur and Southeast Warren.
The Raiderettes took home their first win of the season, scoring 1,676 while Southeast Warren took second with 1,402 and Lamoni-CD scored 1,317 for third.
Kaitlyn Dolecheck had the highest combined score for the Raiderettes with a 278. Her first game came in at the lower end with a 115, but game two was back up near her average with a 163.
Laurie Belzer was second on the team with a 217, bowling an 89 and 128.
Hanna Ackley was the only other Mount Ayr girl to score in the 200s with a 212. Ackley bowled an 81 and 131.
Other scores for the Raiderettes were: Kayla Adkisson 77,61; Stephanie Post 95, 76 and Andrea Sickels 85, 109.
The Raiderettes baker game total came to a 604. They scored a 90, 160, 126, 114 and 114 in the five bakers.
The Raiders also won their meet, scoring six pins more than the girls for a 1,682. Southeast Warren came in second with a 1,278 and Lamoni-CD scored a 746 for third.
Michael Sluyer took the top score for Mount Ayr with a 283, bowling a 124 and 159. Darrian Holmes was close behind with a 271, bowling a 133 and 138.
Other scores for the Raiders were Hunter Jay 70, Harley Hayley 90, 104; Hunter Morgan 74, 82; Michael McDaniel 112, 87 and Tony Daleske with a 106.
In the bakers, the Raiders scored a 599. They bowled a 99, 88, 106, 166 and 120 in their baker games.
The Mount Ayr bowling teams will be home again on December 5 against Clarinda. That game will be played at 2 p.m.
