The Pride of Iowa Conference released their All-Conference girls basketball team recently.
Mount Ayr had a few girls giving nods, with Rachel Sobotka selected to the first team, Maddie Stewart selected to the second team and Alexa Anderson given the honorable mention.
Rachel Sobotka led the Raiderettes in scoring (237) and rebounds (186).
Maddie Stewart led Mount Ayr in assists (48) and steals (64) while scoring the second most points on the team with 185.
Alexa Anderson led the team in blocks (23) while also scoring 139 points and grabbing 113 rebounds.
The Pride of Iowa first team includes: TJ Stoaks and Cassidy Nelson of Lenox, Maddax DeVault of Nodaway Valley, Lindsey Davis of Nodaway Valley and Emily Jones of Wayne.
Stoaks and Devault were unanimous decisions.
The second team includes: Josie Hartman and Alivia Ruble of Southeast Warren, Lexi Shike of Nodaway Valley, Lyndsey Dale of Central Decatur and Kaylin Lack of East Union.
Shike wasa unanimous decision.
Recieving an honorable mention was Kennedy Weed of Bedford, Hallee Hamilton of Central Decatur, Grace Nixon of East Union, Jordan England of Lenox, Kylie Keller of Martensdale-St. Mary’s, Corinne Bond of Nodaway Valley, Makayla Ruble of Southeast Warren, Maggie Haer of Southwest Valley and Maddy Wood of Wayne.
