The Mount Ayr golf teams traveled to Corning last week for a triangular against Southwest Valley and Essex.
In the girls meet, Mount Ayr and Essex both shot a 281, while Southwest Valley did not post a score.
Helen Nicholas, of Essex, medaled with a low score of 45, followed by three Raiderettes, Ally Shelley (51), Hallee Stewart (53) and Emmalee Schafer (54).
Linsie Barnes shot a 60 for the Raiderettes to place 10th, while Mallory Weehler and Ashtyn Weehler both shot a 66 to place 13th.
The Raiders finished third overall with Essex taking top honors, shooting a 202, while Southwest Valley finished second with a 205. The Raiders shot a 239 to end the day.
Medaling in the boys meet was Owen Wilkinson of Southwest Valley. Right behind him for runner-up was Nash English with a 49.
Mount Ayr’s Drew Ehlen had a rough day, finishing seventh overall, with a 52, while Riley Stark shot a 57 for an 11th place finish.
Tony Daleske shot a 62, while Xander Harmening shot a 68 and Keye Willis ended the day with a 74.
