To the editor:
Darrell Dodge’s “One way ticket” (column on March 17) plan to deal with gun violence is a good one I think.
However, it may be a bit of a knee jerk reaction to the violence plaguing our country.
After all, you’re just as dead if you’re beaten to death, stabbed to death, or beaten over the head with a frying pan.
Violence is violence, right?
From what I hear, violence in all forms is on the increase. The reason why is another discussion but I don’t think it’s cused by inanimate objects.
I think the plan should be extended to include all forms of violence, not just gun violence.
