Penni Meline (Doolittle) Hewlett

Penni Meline (Doolittle) Hewlett was born August 19, 1961, to Melvin Eugene and Judy Maxine (Reed) Doolittle in Leon, Iowa. Penni was welcomed by older sister, Debra Maxine and later joined by younger sister Teena Marie.
Penni married Greg Hewlett with whom 2 sons were born: Benjamin LeeReese in 1982 and Aric Clifford in 1985. They later divorced.
In 2007, Penni joined Dana Hall living in Iowa City until retiring in 2021 and moving to Leon, Iowa.
Penni passed away on December 15, 2024. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents, Melvin and Judy Doolittle; brother-in-law Jeff Hash; bonus dad Richard (Dick) Neipert; parents-in-law Emerson Leroy and Arlene Mavis Hall.
Survivors include her spouse Dana Hall of Leon, IA, sons Benjamin (Bessy) Hewlett of Osceola, IA and Aric (Correnia) Hewlett of Osceola, IA; grandchildren Wyatt Lee, Aryanna Judith, Ahnyka Reese, Byrin Melvin, Daria Debrah; sisters Debbie (Rod) Holmes of Kellerton, IA and Teena Hash of Leon, IA; brother-in-law Doug (Patty) Hall of Thousand Oaks, CA; bonus mom Connie Neipert of West Liberty, IA; bonus sister Lynn Longstreth and bonus brother John Neipert, both of West Liberty, IA; family monarch Kay Doolittle of Mount Ayr, IA; other relatives and friends.
