Obituary – ROBERT H. DARLING, Sr.
Robert H. Darling, Sr, was born April 7, 1941, in California. He lived most of his life in California where he owned and operated an appliance sales and repair business. He has lived at Sun Valley Lake the past four years where he enjoyed the community and made friends.
Robert passed away at his home at Sun Valley Lake on July 10, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law Charles Earl Ellebrecht; and granddaughter Tiffany Ellebrecht.
Survivors include his four children Janice Ellebrecht, Robert Darling Jr & wife Laurinda Darling, Michael Darling & wife Amy Darling, Anita Baker & husband Charles Baker; one brother Ross Buffington & husband Dennis Wong; nine grandchildren Charles Robert Ellebrecht, Phillip Roy Ellebrecht, Jared Darling, Elissa White, Amanda Gowdy, Bryan Huey, Isabella McKee-Nguyen, Savanna Russel, Charles Baker Jr; twenty-four great grandkids, Austin Ellebrecht, Cadence Ellebrecht, Christiana Ellebrecht, Phillip Ryan Ellebrecht, Brianna Foster, Damian Daniels, Hailee White, Hudson White, Jaxon Darling, Jace Darling, Jolie Darling, May Gowdy, Bodean Gowdy, Daisy Gowdy, Cyrus Nguyen, Madison Russel, McKenzie Russel, AJ Baker, Willow Baker, Dahlia Baker, Gabriel Osborne, Emmalee Osborne, Eilene Osborne, Daniel Osborne; two nephews Alex Buffington, Roland Buffington.
