Grace Lavone Morgan Nichols

Grace Lavone Morgan, daughter of Birddeon and Louie Morgan, was born October 14, 1896 near Kellerton, Iowa, where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to Roland Nichols March 1, 1916.

She united with the Methodist Episcopal Church at High Point in early life, remaining faithful to the same until the time of her death.

On Friday, October 18, she departed this life at the home of her husband’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Nichols, at the age of twenty-two years and four days.

Mrs. Nichols is survived by her devoted husband, father and mother, three sisters: Mrs. Verda Nichols, Vadna and Winnie Morgan; three brothers: Forrest, Wayne and Dean, and other relatives and a host of near friends.

A short service was held at the home of E. C. Nichols, conducted by her pastor Rev. L. H Smith and interment was made at the Oliver Cemetery.
