Gloria Ruth Kiburz, 82, of Strawberry Point, Iowa died Thursday, July 1, 2010, at her daughter’s home in Strawberry Point.
Gloria was born March 4, 1928 in Nashua, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Geneva Fern (Seeley) Jermier. Gloria was raised and educated in Nashua, graduating from Nashua high school.
On April 3, 1947, she was united in marriage to Larry Fangman and five children were born to this union. They were later divorced and Gloria was then married to Kenneth Kiburz.
Gloria had worked for Rockwell-Collins in Cedar Rapids for 16 years.
She enjoyed gardening and painting.
Gloria touched many lives and was so easy to love.
Survivors include four children, son, Tom (Tonetta) Fangman of Dundee, Iowa, daughter, Sue (Jay) Schuchardt of Swisher, Iowa, son, Jim (Darcy) Fangman of Sainte Genevieve, Missouri and daughter, Kathy Nurre of Strawberry Point, Iowa; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and many stepchildren and stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; her son, Bill Fangman in 1971; grandson, Chris Fangman, and her son-in-law, Paul Nurre.

Private family memorial services were held at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Strawberry Point with Rev. Mary Green officiating.
