B. GERTRUDE LIVINGSTON

    B. Gertrude Livingston, 101, of Fort Myers Florida passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband Lowell R. Livingston.
    She is survived by her sons Joe (Sylvia), Bill (Karla) and Dale, nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
    She spent the first 57 years of her life in southern Iowa as a farmer in partnership with her husband Lowell while raising three rambunctious boys and being very active in the community and church. She and Lowell retired to Ft. Myers in 1970 and soon became Charter members of Whiskey Creek Country Club which became the core of their new social life in Florida and resulted in becoming a Life Master in Bridge and two holes in one on the golf course. She also modeled clothes at the club’s annual fashion show, most recently in January of this year.
    A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 11 at Memorial Gardens, Ft. Myers with Internment at Memorial Gardens.
