TERRY GENE TULL

Terry Gene Tull the third child of Archie Ivan and RoEmma Murlen (Sissel) Tull was born at home at Hatfield, Missouri January 18, 1958. He passed away at the Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.
Terry attended school at Mount Ayr Community and later got his GED. Terry was a handyman doing shingling, painting and working for local farmers. He did work helping tear out abandoned railroads. His last job was working in Clearfield at the South Chicken Houses. He liked those little fuzz balls as Terry would call them.
Terry was united in marriage to Jeanne Staats, and where he gained two step-children and they later divorced. He remained single the rest of his life. Terry made many friends wherever he went.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father in 1974; sister, Peggy Elliott.
He is survived by his mother, RoEmma Tull of Creston; three sisters, Janet (Jim) Sissel of Creston, Connie Abarr (Chris) Norem and Penny (Jerry) Carson of Creston; brother, Dale (Marlene) Tull of Diagonal; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Services were held at the Armstrong Funeral Home of Mount Ayr, Iowa on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Tony Thurston and Pastor Barton Shields officiating and Clyde and Alice Sweeten providing the music.
Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Tull, Mike Avitt, Brian Smith, Jordan Richman, Scott Stanley, Jeff Hendren, John Fitzgerald, Roger Saxton, Chris an Fosson and J.T. Dean. The final resting place is at Payne Cemetery at Hatfield, MO. Memorials go to the American Heart Association.
