Donna Lee Webb, age 76, of Kellerton, Iowa, the daughter of Carlton Theodore and Veta Evelyn (Baker) Smith, was born April 24, 1942, at Leon, Iowa. She left this life on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Mercy West Hospital in West Des Moines, Iowa.
Donna graduated from Leon High School in 1960. She was married to Sebern Gray “Bill” Webb in that same year. They were blessed with three children, Veta, Diana, and Carlton. Donna was a great mom, who loved spending time with her loving husband and her children. She was overjoyed when grandchildren joined the family.
Donna worked at the Grand Valley School for 20 years from 1978, until closing in 1998. She was full of life, loved gardening, canning her produce, and shopping. She cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved her church but above all, God.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Dick Winkler; and siblings, Helen Hamilton, Jean Smith, and Roger Smith. Survivors include her children, Veta and Trent Woods of Grimes, Iowa, Diana Winkler of Lorimer, Iowa, and Carl and Janet Webb of Macksburg, Iowa; grandchildren; sister, Melba Bazer of Omaha, Nebraska; brother, Carlton Lester Smith and wife, Marna, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
The Family had a memorial service at the Family Worship Center in Kellerton, Iowa at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018.
