JUANITA CLOUSE

Juanita Clouse, 88, of Massena passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at the Heritage House in Atlantic.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at the Massena United Methodist Church in Massena. Pastor Karen Patrick officiated the service. A luncheon was held at the church immediately following the services. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Mount Ayr, Iowa at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019 with Mr. Bill Armstrong officiating. Family visitation with friends were on Friday, February 8 at the Steen Funeral Home in Massena from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Juanita Clouse memorial fund to be established by the family at a later date.
She is survivors by her children, Steve Clouse and wife Patty of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Cindy Hardie and husband Rex of Council Bluffs, Penny Ingham and husband Jax of Lowville, New York and Diane Funk and husband Mark of Griswold; former daughter-in-law, Kay Clouse Schirm of Mount Vernon, Iowa; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd Drake and wife Kay of Tingley and Tom Drake and wife Barb of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; two sisters-in-law, Joan Carey of Winterset and Janice Reason and husband Keith of Clear Lake, Iowa; other relatives and friends.

    So very sorry to hear about Juanita. It’s never easy to lose a parent. I always thought a lot of your parents and had a lot of good conversations with them when we all still lived in Mt. Ayr. Sending our love and sympathy and know she is no longer suffering. Take care.
