Coach Brad Elliott took the Raider track team to Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville for their first indoor meet of the year, competing against over 25 schools from Missouri and Iowa.
“Several athletes earned personal best performances in their first competition,” said coach Elliott. “It’s not very often you see kids perform this well indoors, but the facility and level of competition was perfect for top quality efforts.”
The Raiders saw one first place finish with Isaac Timmerman finishing first in the 1600 meter event, posting a time of 4:47.07 to place him seventh on the MACS All-Time list.

Chase Smith placed third overall in the 3200 and placed 6th on the MACS All-Time list, posting a time of 10:36.78.
The Raiders saw some success in their relays, where they have always had a strong showing in recent years.
The 4×200 team consisting of Payton Weehler, Connor Eaton, Seth Shelman and Hunter Arends placed 10th on the MACS All-Time list with a third place finish in a time of 1:35.25.
