SCOTT WALTERS

Scott Everett Walters was born February 27, 1970 to Dale Everett and Doris Kay (Sevier) Walters in Mount Ayr, IA. He was raised on a farm near Mount Ayr. Scott graduated from Mount Ayr High School in 1988. He loved sports and earned 14 varsity letters.
Scott worked several construction jobs through the years. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Scott would give his last dollar, if you needed it. Scott enjoyed playing cards, playing pool and watching sports over a cold beer. Scott passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 7, 2019.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delbert and Daivy Dean Sevier and Chris and Wanda Walters. He is survived by his parents, Dale and Doris Walters of Mount Ayr; daughter, Mollie Walters, of Urbandale; son, Brian Walters; three siblings, Tammy (Tom) Walk of Greenfield, Clint (KrisTina) Walters of Austin, MN and Cindy (Malcolm) McGee of San Antonio, TX; many nieces and nephews, T.J., Christina, and Luna Walk, Michelle Walk, Zach, Heather, and Lillian Ingwers, Zhahn and Allison Bose, Brenna Walk, Tyler, Ryan, Kyra, and Mya Walters, and Jonas, Bryson, and Kaitlyn McGee; extended family and lots of friends.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Armstrong Funeral Home in Mount Ayr, IA.
Officiating will be Rev. Emily Peasley.
Sharing and memories will be Jeff Scott.
Song that will be sang is “When I Get Where I’m Going”.
Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Mount Ayr, IA.
Memorials in Scott’s name to be used for Mollie’s education.

    I want to wish my condolences to Scott’s family I knew scott he was a good guy.he will be missed. RIP Scott.
