To the editor:
I call them “kids”. Most of them have their bachelor’s degree, some their master’s degree.
They walk into the door of our local basement library with a smile on their face and support for each of their candidates. I love their enthusiasm and work ethic. Each travel the country to support someone they believe in. They are smart, fun-loving, and hard-working “kids.” At our last meeting one of the “kids” said, “I love coming to Mount Ayr!”
A member of our group asked, “Tell us why you love Mount Ayr?” He said,”I love Jamie’s coffee, Casey’s employees are helpful and friendly and I recently had a car accident, hit a deer, and a kind person stopped and helped me.” “People in Mount Ayr are friendly.” Compliments to “kids” and Mount Ayr’
