Ringgold County now has a redesigned website to provide information about county government as well as items of interest in the county.
The website can be found at https://www.ringgoldcounty.us.
Featuring a beautiful sunrise photo by county photographer Amanda Jackson, an introduction to the county on the homepage states:
“Ringgold County is helping redefine Small Town, USA. It is a place where history, values and innovation unite to provide a great place for businesses to thrive, families to grow, and transformation to take off.
“Our community continues to expand from our agricultural roots. Combined with diverse, locally-owned business offerings, savvy career opportunities fueled by technology, and a culture that welcomes big ideas and even bigger progress, our slice of southwest Iowa is a great place, to visit, live and thrive.
“Come see a place that appreciates tradition. A place that supports the next generation of game changers and history makers. A place where childhood dreams of becoming an astronaut actually come true. While you’re here, catch a sunset that will make you believe that anything is possible.
“Create tomorrow’s memories in Ringgold County.”
The website features links to and contact information for all county departments including assessor, attorney, auditor, clerk of court, conservation, E911, emergency management, engineer, general assistance, public health, recorder, sheriff, supervisors, supportive services, treasurer and veterans affairs.
