Veterans Day observances have been set for Monday, November 11 and Tuesday, November 12.
Hy-Vee breakfast
Hy-Vee will host a free breakfast for veterans and their spouses from 6-10 a.m. Monday at the Mount Ayr American Legion building.
Additional guests may purchase breakfast for $6.
Mount Ayr school
The Veterans Day observance in the Mount Ayr schools will take place Monday at 12:45 p.m. in the high school gym.
Guest speaker will be U.S. Senator Joni Ernst.
The program will feature music from the elementary and high school students.
Diagonal school
The Veterans Day program in the Diagonal schools will begin at 2 p.m. Monday in the south gym. The event is sponsored by the student council.
Veterans potluck
The Ringgold County Senior Citizens Activity Center will host its annual Veterans Potluck Tuesday, November 12 at 12 noon.
All senior veterans are welcome to join in the free lunch.
