The Mount Ayr bowling teams hosted the Clarinda Cardinals last Thursday in Mount Ayr.
The Cardinals came prepared and had an astounding victory over the Raiders, scoring 2,754 to Mount Ayr’s 1,762.
The Raiderd were led by Tony Daleska, bowling a 140 and 123.
Michael McDaniel bowled the second highest totals of the day with a 259, bowling a 127 and 132.
Other totals for the Raiders: Hunter Jay 91, 116; Harley haley 63, 71; Michael Sluyaer 87, 143; Darrian Holmes 122, 126.
In the baker games, the Raiders bowled a 561 as a total, with games of 89, 105, 117, 121 and 129.
The Raiderettes fell by six pins to the Cardinals, scoring a 1,788 to Clarindas 1,794.
Kaitlyn Dolecheck led the way for Mount Ayr, bowling a 299 total with games of 144 and 155.
Hanna Ackley bowled a 250 with games of 140 and 110.
Other scores for the Raiderettes are Stephanie Post 119, 110; Laurie Belzer 72, 105; Eva Sobotka 90, Kyla Adkisson 96; Andrea Sickels 100, 131.
In their baker games, the Raiderettes scored a 602 after bowling games of 146, 99, 139, 128 and 90.
On Monday, the Raider and Raiderettes hosted Nodaway Valley at the lanes. The Raiderettes fell 1,961 to 1,874.
Andrea Sickels led the Raiderettes in score, bowling a 146 and a 117. Hanna Ackley wasn’t far behind, bowling a 127 and 114.
Other scores for the Raiderettes were: Stephanie Post 103, 109; Laurie Belzer 106, 96; Sadie Berger 63, 74; Kaitlyn Doleheck 101, 137.
The Raiderettes scored higher in the baker rounds, rolling a 718 after bowling 135, 139, 153, 137 and 154. It wasn’t enough to overcome Nodaway Valley, however,
The Raiders were able to defeat their Wovlerine opponents, though.
The Raiders were led by Michael Sluyer who bowled a 152 and 154. Darrian Holmes bowled a 140 and 155 to sit in second for Mount Ayr.
Other scores for Mount Ayr were: Michael McDaniel 81, 108; Harley Haley 122, 95; Scout Suplinger 91, 96; Tony Daleske 86, 109.
In the baker games, the Raiders bowled a 650, beating out Nodaway Valley’s 588.
The Raiders bowled a 129, 140, 125, 155 and 101 to complete the bakers.
