Raider grapplers win at home after Webb pins opponent

The Raider wrestlers were able to host a home meet on January 30, inviting Bedford-Lenox and Maryville, Missouri wrestlers to town.
Mount Ayr wrestled the Maryville Spoofhounds first.
Jarrett Webb, Byrce Shaha, Trey Fooken, Talal Rahahleh and Drew Ehlen all received a bye.
Payton Fleharty was able to get a win over Brayden Beattie by a 7-5 decision.
Trae Ehlen pinned Macen Shurvington in 31 seconds before Jaydon Knight battled his way to a pin after 3:04 against Drew Spire.
Andi Gonzales was defeated by Gaven Gray-Walker by a major decision of 13-3.
Keiren Watkins of Mount Ayr defeated Donovan Morales by fall in 3:12 and Kort Watkins of Maryville defeated Braydon Swietlik by a fall in 1:19.
The Raiders won 45-16 overall.
Against Bedford-Lenox, the match came down to the very last contest.
The match had only three forfeits against Mount Ayr with Bryce Shaha, Payton Fleharty and Donovan Morales all winning by forfeit and Bedford-Lenox winning three forfeits as well.
The Raiders began the match with a loss, with Trey Fooken falling in 42 seconds to Terrance Sheley. Trae Ehlen put Mount Ayr on with a pin against Isaac Grundman in 3:17. Jaydon Knight won by fall in 38 seconds over Brayden Daly. Talal Rahahleh fell to Andrew Kennan and Andi Gonzales fell in 2:36 to Drew Venteicher.
Braydon Swietlik fell in 1:56 to Devin Whiple ple before Drew Ehlen pinned Mizael Gomez in 1:04.
The final match came down to Jarrett Webb and Chance Valenzuela of Bedford-Lenox. Jarrett Webb was able to pin Valenzuela in 45 seconds to give the Raiders a win over Bedford-Lenox and win the meet.
