Like those throughout the state, voters across Ringgold County participated in the Iowa Caucus Monday, February 3.
On the Republican side, President Donald Trump received all but one vote at the county caucus.
Trump collected 106 votes to one vote for Bill Weld.
On the Democrat side, it was a much different story.
By press time Tuesday, a full day after the caucus, the Iowa Democratic Party had released only 62 percent of its caucus vote.
Locally, with only three of seven precincts from Ringgold County reporting, Pete Buttigieg had received 34.55 percent of the vote, Joe Biden nearly 30.90 percent, Elizabeth Warren 14. 5 percent, and Amy Klobuchar 12.73 percent.
