Lenox, Lamoni, MA
Lenox took first with 2,058 pins to Mount Ayr’s 1,748 and Lamoni’s 1,489 pins.
Leading the Raiderettes was Kaitlyn Dolecheck with a total score of 304 followed by Andrea Sickels with a 301. Dolecheck finished with games of 156 and 148, whereas Sickels bowled a 146 and 155.
In the bakers, the Raiderettes finishd with a total of 499 pins to Lamoni’s 510 and Lenox’s 645.
Other scores for the Raiderettes were Hanna Ackley 117, 119’ Stephanie post 117, 94; Laurie Belzer 87, 80 and Eva Sobotka 113, 84.
The Raiders finished second in the meet as well with 2,061 pins with Lenox taking top honors at 2,148 and Lamoni at 1,308.
Leading the Raiders was Tony Daleske with a total of 298 after games of 153 and 145 and Michael Sluyer with games of 142 and 137 to total 279.
In the bakers, the Raiders bowled a 739 while Lamoni scored 434 and Lenox scored 733.
Other scores for the Raiders were Hunter Jay 129, 141; Jarley haley 113, 104; Michael McDaniel 119, 101 and Darrian Holmes 137, 118.
Lamoni, WCV, MA
To begin February, the bowlers faced Lamoni and West Central Valley.
The Raiderettes finished third with 1,089 pins while Lamoni finished first with 1,549 and West Central Valley’s 1,525.
Leading the way for the Raiderettes was Laurie Belzer with 209 pins with games of 104 and 105 and Eva Sobotka with 171 total after games of 88 and 83.
In the bakers the Raiderettes scored a 331 to Lamoni’s 564 and West Central Valley’s 531.
Other scores for the Raiderettes were Kayla Adkisson 50, 81; Abby Woodruff 78, 38; Lilly main 55, 44 and Sadie Berger 66, 65.
The Raiders finished second with 1,566 pins to Lamoni’s 1,674.
West Central Valley only had three bowlers and bowled a 908 total.
Leading the way for Mount Ayr was Brandon Lane with a 246 after games of 115 and 131. Harley Haley bowled a 228 after games of 124 and 104.
In the bakers, Mount Ayr bowled a 1,100 to Lamoni’s 1,135 and West Central Valley’s 615.
Other scores for the Raiders were Hunter Morgan 120, 71; Christan Hanson 73, 76; Darron Drake 117, 101 and Traviyn Holmes 94, 123.
“We let some of our bowlers who did not have any or very little experience at the start of our bowling season give a demonstration of their skills,” said coach Mike Zarr. “I saw a lot of improvement in all of the bowlers but I also saw some skills that need work.
Lamoni, Clarke, MA
On February 3, the bowlers hosted Lamoni and Clarke. The Raiderettes took first, bowling a 1,919 while Clarke, who only had four girls, bowled a 1,868 and Lamoni-Central Decatur bowled a 1,566.
Leading the way for Mount Ayr was Kaitlyn Dolecheck with a 368 with games of 182 and 186.
Hanna Ackley bowled a 283 total after games of 152 and 131.
The Raiderettes in baker rounds scored a 546 while Clarke posted a 577 and Lamoni scored a 463.
Other scores for the Raiderettes were Stephanie Post 120, 129; Eva Sobotka 115, 97; Kayla Adkisson 88, 142; Andrea Sickels 131, 112.
The Raiders placed second in their match scoring a 1,810 while Clarke took top honors with a 2,120 and Lamoni finished third with a 1,719.
Leading the Raiders was Hunter Jay bowling a 315 followed by Darrian Holmes with a 270.
In the baker game, the Raiders scored a 538 while Clarke saw a 617 and Lamoni was close behind with a 612.

The Mount Ayr teams competed at the Pride of Iowa meet in Lenox on February 8.
The Raiderettes finished third overall with 1,640 pins. Nodaway Valley finished first with 2,022 followed by Lenox with 1,881. Southeast Warren was 10 pins behind Mount Ayr for fourth place with a total of 1,630 and Lamoni finished fifth with a 1,184.
The Raiderettes were led by Kaitlyn Dolecheck with a total of 290 after games of 149 and 141 and Hanna Ackley with a total of 240 after games of 126 and 114.
In the bakers Mount Ayr bowled a 476 while Nodaway Valley recorded a 664, Lenox bowled a 602, Southeast Warren bowled a 559 and Lamoni bowled a 363.
Other scores for the Raiderettes were Laurie Belzer 104, 125; Kayla Adkisson 75, 0; Sadie Berger 95, 74; Andrea Sickels 107, 129 and Lilly Main 0, 77.
The Raiders finished second overall recording a score of 1,634 following Lenox with 2,137. Nodaway Valley finished third with a score of 1,622, Southeast Warren fourth with 1,543 and Lamoni scored a 1,521.
Leading the way for Mount Ayr was Michael McDaniel with a 291 after games of 135 and 156. Hunter Jay bowled a 218 total after games of 115 and 103.
The Raiders bowled a 1,106 in the bakers. The Wolverines scored 1,140, Tigers a 1,399, Warhawks a 992 and Cardinals a 1,007.
Other scores for the Raiders were Brandon Lane 75, 118; Harley Haley 69, 95; Michael Sluyer 84, 113 and Darrian Holmes 86, 121.
