Taylor Fiberglass Products of Diagonal will soon be under new ownership but will remain in the family.
The announcement of the sale came in a joint statement by current president Dixie Taylor and manager Jim Taylor, along with new owners Michael and Rachel Inloes of Bucyrus, KS.
Rachel Inloes is the granddaughter of Taylor Fiberglass Products founders Dixie and the late Jack Taylor.
Both she and her husband are graduates of Mount Ayr Community High School.
Dave and Bev Inloes, Michael’s parents and also former residents of Ringgold County, will assist in the operation.
Michael Inloes, who has a background in fiberglass fabrication, said the manufacturing side of the business will be moved to Kansas, but sales and service will remain in Ringgold County under local representation by John Larsen and others.
The business name will become Taylor Fiberglass, LLC.
The Taylor family has operated Taylor Fiberglass Products, Inc. since 1961 serving customers locally and in the surrounding states.
“Both [Michael and Rachel] are extremely thankful for the opportunity to continue the legacy that the Taylor family started,” the announcement stated.
