To the editor:
I would like to thank the patrons of the Mount Ayr Public Library for their continued patience and understanding during the corona virus pandemic. And, I would most especially like to thank the Library Board of Trustees for their continued support making it possible for the Librarians to continue to provide our patrons with reading materials and WiFi access.
For those of us who love to read, books are essential, now more than ever. Readers understand the sentiments of two of our Founding Fathers, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams when they said, “they couldn’t live without books.”

One can only binge watch so much TV.
