Softball Schedule
Monday, June 15 marks opening day for summer sports across Iowa.
Mount Ayr baseball and softball will kick things off, after two weeks of practice, with a non-conference matchup against Mormon Trail, in Mount Ayr.
The home opener will be varsity only and will see softball start things off with first pitch coming in at 6 p.m.
Baseball will follow with a start time of 7:30 p.m., giving fans a perfect viewing of the new musco lighting that was recently installed.
The next night the Raiders and Raiderettes will travel to Corning for a matchup against Southwest Valley which will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Following the Southwest Valley battle, Earlham will come to Mount Ayr for a varsity doubleheader in softball. Baseball gets the night off.
The first week of competition will close out with Mount Ayr hosting Southeast Warren.
Not on the schedule is the Raiderette matchup against Lenox on June 22 at 5:30 p.m. The Raiderettes will host that game.
Games are subject to be cancelled and are most likely not to be made up if it does happen.

All games are $5 for adults in Mount Ayr, while students get in for free.
