The Raiderettes will enter the 2020 season under a new regime after longtime head coach Tori Braby resigned following the conclusion of the 2019 season.
Co-head coaches Mariah Mason and Kristen Graham, along with assistant Stephanie Weeda and volunteer Brandie Ruggles, look to steer the Raiderettes back to the top of the Pride of Iowa after a 12-15 record last year, in which they finished 0-4 in the conference.
The girls return a lot of experience to the court after graduation Sam Stewart and Jaycee Knight.
This season, the Raiderettes are returning a large senior class with Channler Henle, Rachel Sobotka, Hope Whittington, Alexa Anderson, Rachael Lutrick, Avery Dickerson, Ally Shelley and Kylian Wise.
More experience comes from the junior class as well with Maddie Stewart, Adalyn Reynolds, Halsie Barnes, Payten Lambert and Samantha Mueller.
Sophmore players include Tegan Streit, Tabby Henle, Josie Vanderflught, Kaylie Shields, Jillian Kniep, Kacee Klommhaus, Angelina Smith, Linsie Barnes, Zoey Larsen, Sherri Gordon, Kalee Wise and Alexis Greenland.
The incoming freshman class includes, Hayden Ruggles, Karly Elwood, Abby Eaton, Janna Irving, Alexa Drayton and Zoey Shlley.
“I am excited due to the potential we’ve seen and the experience on the floor,” said coach Graham. “Team chemistry is going to play a role in our success.”
