Ringgold County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections Amanda Waske has announced that absentee ballots for the November 3, 2020, General Election are available to be voted in the Ringgold County Auditor’s Office on Monday, October 5.
Absentee ballots may be cast in the auditor’s office on the second floor of the county courthouse during regular office hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday through November 2. The auditor’s office will also be open Saturday, October 24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, October 31 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Absentee ballots must be requested in writing. Forms are available at the auditor’s office, on the Ringgold County web site at www.ringgoldcounty.us and at the Iowa Secretary of State’s web site at www.sos.state.ia.us.
All requests for ballots to be mailed must be received by the auditor’s office by 5 p.m. Saturday, October 24. Ballots returned to the auditor’s office through the mail must be returned and postmarked by midnight Monday, November 2.
