The Raiderettes have been struggling on the court after a two-week quarantine took them out of compeitition.
Before the absence, the Raiderettes were 2-1, with a loss to Bedford.
Since coming back, the Raiderettes are 2-8 and looking for an answer.
The Raiderettes were 1-4 in the last week, falling to Clarinda before heading to Bedford for a tournament. The Raiderettes fell to Lamoni, Bedford and East Mills but a win over Murray gave them one in the win column.
Clarinda 3, MA 0
At Clarinda, the Raiderettes lost 3-0, falling 25-12, 25-8 and 25-18.
As a team, the girls recorded five assists and nine kills, while defensively, the Raiderettes had three blocks and 36 digs, with two blocks coming from Alexa Anderson.
Serving, the Raiderettes were successful on 32-of-36 serves with one ace.
Lamoni 2, MA 1
The Raiderettes got a close win to begin their battle with Lamoni, 25-21, but fell in the next two, 25-22 and 15-5.
The Raiderettes bounced back from their fall against Clarinda and saw 12 assists, 17 kills and four blocks against the Demons, but it wasn’t enough to get the win.
At the serve line, the Raiderettes were 47-of-51 with two aces to cap the night.
Bedford 2, MA 0
The Bedford Bulldogs defeated the Raiderettes in close games, 21-18 and 22-20 to win 2-0.
The Raiderettes put up 12 assists and had 14 kills on 69 attempts and were 35-of-37 at the line with one ace against the Bulldogs.
Kaylie Shields and Hope Whittington led the team in assists with four and six, respectively.
Adalyn Reynolds had five kills on 16 attempts to lead the Raiderette attack.
Tegan Streit led the Raiderettes behind the line, serving eight-of-eight with one ace.
East Mills 2, MA 0
The Raiderettes took on the East Mills Wolverines but fell 21-5 and 25-12 to defeat the Raiderettes 2-0.
The Raiderettes were nine-for-49 on the attack and recorded five assists and three blocks. They saw the serve line 15 times, of which 13 were successful with one ace.
Mt. Ayr 2, Murray 1
The Raiderettes were grabbed their first win since September 19 when they defeated Wayne.
Murray was able to grab a second game win, 21-19, but the Raiderettes won the first 21-19 and the third 15-13.
The Raiderettes were 21-of-89 on the attack with 13 assists, three blocks and were 49-of-52 with nine aces.
Next up for the Raiderettes is Murray again on October 5 at 6 p.m.
