The City of Mount Ayr is seeking input for the future of the recycling service provided by the city.
According to the survey document, the recycling contract for the city is expected to increase nearly $10,000 annually effective December 1.
The survey asks residents if they use the recycling service, and if so, would they be willing to pay an extra $1.50-$2.25 per month to maintain the service.
An area on the survey is set aside for comments.
The survey results will provide feedback to the council to assist them in determining the future of recycling.
Residents are asked to return the survey by Friday, October 16.
