Long-time Ringgold County sheriff Lyle Minnick passed away November 24.
Minnick served as a deputy sheriff from 1976-1984, prior to being elected as sheriff in 1985, a post he held for 14 years.
In 2016, Minnick was elected as a Ringgold County supervisor and was nearing the end of his four-year term.
The Ringgold County Courthouse will be closed Friday, December 4 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. to attend the services for supervisor Lyle Minnick and his wife Judy, who also passed away November 24.
A double memorial graveside service will be held at the Benton Cemetery at 11 a.m. Friday, December 4, with Pastor Terry D. Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Benton Cemetery.
