Area churches have announced plans for their Christmas Eve services.
Main Street Christmas
The United Church of Diagonal is hosting “Main Street Christmas,” a drive-up Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. December 24 at 209 Broadway.
Everyone is invited to park their cars and enjoy a special service and accompanying music.
Participants are also asked to turn on a flash light or cell phone light for the closing song, “Silent Night.”
Tingley Christmas Eve
An outdoor Christmas Eve service is planned for December 24 beginning at 6 p.m.
Attendees will read the Christmas story and sing Silent Night with glow sticks.
The plan is to keep the service about 20 minutes.
If you are not a fan of the cold, pull up and stay in your car. Social distancing, masks and hot cocoa are all highly recommended.
Details from more area services will be added to this list as they become available.
