The Raiderettes met up with the Nodaway Valley Wolverines for the second time this season last week and were unable to stick with the high-powered Wolverine team.
The Raiderettes had trouble at the bucket, shooting 30 percent from the field and 57 percent from the stripe.
The Raiderettes were led in points by Rachel Sobotka, who currently leads the team.
Sobotka also led the team in rebounds, snagging eight of their 22 total.
The Wolverines didn’t shoot much better in their win over the Raiderettes, shooting 36.5 percent from the field, but shot a whopping 85 percent from the stripe.
Nodaway Valley was led by Maddax Devault and Lindsey Davis with 20 and 19 points, respectively.
Mount Ayr gave up the ball to the Wolverines 13 times, while Nodaway Valley snagged 42 rebounds onthe night.

The Raiderettes hosted the Bedford Bulldogs to close out the week last Friday and got back into the win column to improve to 14-5 on the season.
The Raiderettes outscored the Bulldogs in every quarter, starting by doubling their score in the first quarter 18-9.
Alexa Anderson led the Raiderette attack, scoring 14 points off her seven-of-12 buckets. The Central College commit also led the team in rebounds (12) and steals (6).
As a team, Mount Ayr was 21-of-60 from the field, while hitting four-of-23 from the arc.
At the stripe, the Raiderettes shot 57.9 percent, led by Channler Henle who was four-for-four and Rachel Sobotka who was four-for-seven.
The Raiderettes were able to grab 23 rebounds led by the 23 boards on defense.
Mount Ayr held Bedford to a 25.9 percent efficiency from the paint, while only hitting one-of-11 threes and only went to the line six times.
The Bulldogs saw half the boards of the Raiderettes, snagging 22 total.

The Raiderettes finished out the season on a high note, defeating Interstate-35 to improve to 15-5 on the year.
A 16-5 first quarter put the Raiderettes up early off an Alexa Anderson attack that saw her lead the team at halftime with 14 of the Raiderettes 33 points.
The Roadrunners were able to slow down Anderson in the second, only allowing her four points, but by the end of the night she led the team in scoring with 18 total.
Adding to the score was team scoring leader, Rachel Sobotka, who had slow night underneath, shooting just three times from the field, but reaching the stripe a team high, 10 times, where she added eight points for a total of 10.
The Raiderettes were 17-of-40 from the field, and 25-of-30 from the line, an improvement in an area they have struggled in recent games.
Mount Ayr allowed the Roadrunners a 30 percent shooting efficiency, shooting 11-of-36, five of which were from three-point territory.
The Roadrunners were 10-of-14 from the stripe, but couldn’t close the gap and fell to 3-14 on the year.
The Raiderettes will travel to Leaon next Tuesday as they will face Central Decatur in the first round of postseason regional play.
