Corwin Dwight Karr, Jr
Corwin Dwight Karr, Jr, son of Corwin Dwight Karr, Sr and LaVonne (Gregg) Karr, was born November 6,
1948 in Mount Ayr, IA. Corwin, better known as Junior, learned to work hard at an early age. Junior farmed and
did a lot of welding. He enjoyed earning extra money by trapping. In later years, Junior enjoyed Flea Markets. He enjoyed raising horses and hunting most of his adult life. Most of all, Junior loved his family and spending time with them. Junior married Jackie Meyers and to this marriage, two daughters were born: Ramona and
LaDonna. Junior and Elaine McCampbell shared over 30 years of their lives together. They enjoyed each other and their blended families became one. In addition to their own children, they also helped raise their granddaughter, Karen. Junior became a resident of Eden Acres Campus of Perry Lutheran Homes of Perry,
IA in November 2020. Junior passed away on June 23, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents; life partner, Elaine McCampbell; daughter, LaDonna; sister, Valerie Fletchall. Survivors include his daughter, Ramona Kallash of Waukee, IA; grandchildren, Karen Valdez Gonzalez of Nevada, IA, Stephanie Page of Emporia, KS, Dustin Ely of Des Moines, IA, Heather Page of Des Moines, IA, Tyler Ann Jones and Dana Silva; great grandchildren, Vienna Page, Miquelo Valdez Gonzalez, Adrianna Valdez Gonzalez, Gabriela Valdez Gonzalez, Alora Ely, Lily McClain, Atlas Page; step-children, Curtis Page, Jr of ND, John Page of Nevada, IA,
Patti Page Jones of Creston, IA, Charles Page of Emporia, KS; step-grandchildren, Chris Page, John Page, Jr, Leta Maly, Lisa Vanamburg, Jessica Page, Michael Groves, Curtis Page III, Jeffery Sterling, Crystal Matney;
many step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren relatives and friends. A memorial fund has
been established in his name to be decided. A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 30
at Armstrong Funeral Home in Mount Ayr with Pastor Bill Armstrong officiating. Burial followed in Trinity
