Morgan Waldeier
An empty storefront on the north side of the Mount Ayr square will soon be filled thanks to a young family returning home after years in the city.
Morgan (Rumple) Waldeier, CPA with the firm of Timmins, Jacobsen & Strawhacker of Urbandale, will hold an open house Thursday, December 9 at her new branch office located at 112 West Madison Street, the former home of Cunning Insurance.
A ribbon cutting will be held at 3:30 p.m. that day.
Waldeier and her husband Kellen are both graduates of Mount Ayr High School in 2005 and 2003 respectively.
“We missed the small town life,” said Morgan. “We wanted to be closer to home, the schools, and farming.”
The couple has three children – Reegan, 16; Reese, 4; and Reed, 2.
Waldeier holds a B.S. in Business from Iowa State University and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Phoenix.
She began her career in Mount Ayr doing estate planning and tax returns at Jim Pedersen, PC for individuals and businesses primarily in the ag industry.
Waldeier joined Timmins, Jacobsen and Strawhacker in Urbandale, Iowa in 2013 where she became partner in July 2021.
She brings nine years of experience in individual, corporate, and partnership planning and taxation; trust and estate planning and taxation; audits of businesses and not-for-profits; reviews, compilations and preparations of financial statements; and advisory services.
