Raiderette post-season stats told
The Raiderette basketball season came to an end in February with a loss to the Sidney Cowgirls.
Mount Ayr finished with a record of 11-10 and saw a lot of improvement throughout the year, led by three seniors in Payten lambert, Maddie Stewart and Halsie Barnes.
In the 21 games played, Barnes and Tegan Streit were the only two that started every contest.
The Raiderettes scored 988 points over the course of those 21 games, shooting a 36 percent from the field.
Maddie Stewart led all scorers with a team high of 262 points and a 40 percent field goal percentage.
The Raiderettes were good on 60 three-pointsers, 17 of which were made by Stewart.
At the freethrow line, the Raiderettes were good on 222 and shot a 51 percent from the line.
Stewart, again, led the category with 57 freethrows made.
The Raiderettes recorded 640 rebounds, led by Halsie Barnes with 124.
The Raiderettes recorded 256 assists on the year, led by Tegan Streit with 71.
In steals, the Raiderettes saw 262 throughout the year, with Stewart accounting for 87.
In the block category, Halsie Barnes led the team with 18, the only Raiderette in double digits, while the team recorded 40 altogether.
