It was a second place finish for the Mount Ayr Raiders with an 18-4 record on the season and an 11-2 finish in the conference, tied with Martensdale-St. Marys, with Central Decatur taking top honors with a 12-1 finish in the Pride of Iowa.
The Raiders graduate two seniors in Raines Sackett and Cody Larson.
The Raiders played 22 games this year with three players starting all 22.
Throughout the year, the Raiders scored 1,318 points and shot 42.6 percent from the field.
Leading the Raiders with Jaixen Frost with 492 points, while also setting the school record for most points in a career (with one more year to go) and most points in a game with 41.
The Raiders were good on 85 three-pointers with Frost accounting for 27 and 237 freethrows as a team with Frost good on 93 to lead the team.
The Mount Ayr boys recorded 685 rebounds, led by Frost with 165, while Braydon Pierson was a close second with 144 and Ryce Reynolds with 120.
Cody Larson was also in the triple digits with 111.
Braydon Pierson led the team in steals with 57 of the teams 251, while Frost recorded 56.
The team recorded 51 blocks on the year with Reynolds and Frost each recording 17.
