The Ringgold County’s Chapter of Pheasants Forever annual banquet is fast approaching. Friday April 1 the Pheasants Forever Banquet will be held at the American Legion in Mount Ayr. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner starting at 7:00 p.m. with auction following.
Prime rib cooked by Kevin Trullinger and sides by the Legion Auxiliary highlight the fundraising event.
Numerous firearms, a guided muskie fishing trip, golf outings at premier Iowa golf courses, beautiful prints, and many more prizes will be available in raffles during the social and the auction.
Tickets and sponsorships from the previous banquet leading up to the COVID cancellation will be honored for this year’s banquet. If you are not sure of the status please reach out to John Newton. The Chapter is just happy to be getting everyone back together! Additionally, tickets will be available at the door on April Fool’s Day.
The Pheasants Forever Committee is meeting Monday nights at 7 p.m. to organize the event and welcome anyone interested in being involved. It is a rewarding experience to help plan projects and financial giving for habitat in Ringgold County.
Pheasants Forever is excited to keep local money local with projects that improve upland game habitat, environmental education, and conservation right here in Ringgold County.
Having contributed over $100,000 dollars for local projects, the chapter is excited to get projects rolling once again for our piece of God’s Country.
If you are interested in being on the committee or want to purchase tickets for this year’s banquet please call Andy Kellner (712-621-4227) or John Newton (641-464-3942).
