Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott recently hosted the Mathews-Dickey football camp that saw 600 kids, aged 5-14 attending, including a few local youth from Ringgold County.
Koven and Kaiden Stull, Cole Ruby (cousins of Elliott) and Daxtyn and Eastyn Daily took the trip to St. Louis for the camp.
The camp was free to attend, with Elliott footing the cost, along with a lunch served by Chic-Fil-A.
The children learned the fundamentals of the game on the same field that Elliott started his football career.
Elliott signed autographs and took photos with the kids after each session.
Elliott is the son of Mount Ayr graduate Dawn Huff Elliott and Stacey Elliott.
