To the editor:
Any new president can hire the agency heads, which in turn hire the staff, approximately 4,000 political appointees, who rule over 432 agencies and 2.9 million employees.
This group is known as the “Swamp”, the deep state, or the administrative state!
In 2018 President Trump attempted to gain some control over the Swamp. He was challenged in court by the American Federation of Government Employees, and 16 other federal labor unions, the case ended in a legal tangle and went nowhere.
Two weeks before the 2020 election, President Trump issued executive order 13957 a new category of control over federal employees. The Washington Post called them dedicated civil servants! Joe reversed the order 2 days after taking office.
The unelected COC Swamp was responsible for all the goofy government rules, masks, closing of small businesses, churches, number of people in your home, stay 6 feet apart, and demanding compliance with mandates at the penalty of job loss, military, fire department etc.
Joe and his Swamp are doing all they can to whip up hatred and distrust of President Trump. The January 6 committee is doing its part and allowing no rebuttals to the lies.
The epicenter of the Swamp is Washington, D.C. where it is neck deep! As it spreads over the U.S. it gets shallower! It seems more pervasive in educational institutions, where people are paid by the taxpayer, and hatred still resides in some retired educators!
The Mar-a-Lago raid showed the Biden administration is weaponing the deep state against its political enemies!
(Epoch Times: The handling of classified information is an esoteric subject that few people understand and upon which experts disagree. But there are a few things about the differences between the Clinton and Trump investigations that are understandable.
First, the FBI didn’t raid Hillary Clinton’s house, even though she had classified material on her private server, including top-secret files. Second, Donald Trump wasn’t given the privilege that Clinton had of deleting about 33,000 files at issue based on her decision of whether they should be disclosed.
Third, a secretary of state doesn’t have the same broad powers to declassify material that a president has as chief security officer. Fourth, it’s highly unlikely that Trump will get the same treatment as Clinton where the FBI declared her violations to be non-prosecutable, when the role of the FBI is to collect evidence and not to make legal pronouncements. So, what is most understandable is that there’s a double standard.) We will see how the IRS separates the Ds and Rs with its tax audits.
Joe is selling millions of barrels of reserve oil to his friends, and Hunter’s partners in China! The house Rs voted 206 to stop this, it was overruled unanimously 219 by the Ds.
Don’t forget President Trump’s border wall, break with China plus tariffs, brokered agreements in the Middle East, calmed the waters with Ivan and N. Korea. He also fought constant harassments from the Dems and the swamp.
