MARY JOANN GROVES

Mary JoAnn Groves was brought into this world on June 10, 1961 in Kansas City, MO to her parents, Darlene and Walter Groves.
Growing up, Mary was raised in western Missouri and attended Orick School District where she then graduated in 1978.
Mary loved spending time with family and welcomed all with open arms. She had always wanted many children, coming from a large family with twelve siblings and was eventually blessed with four of her own. Mary always enjoyed being pampered. She loved getting her nails done and having her hair brushed by others. She never failed to let you know if it wasn’t up to her standards with her stubborn personality. It’s safe to say that it ran through the family. Mary’s hobbies consisted of cooking, baking and singing. She adored anyone who sang along and shared laughs when someone would mess up. A few months ago, Mary was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Family gathered together for her last birthday where endless amounts of love and laughter will forever remain a memory.
