The Raiders head to Avoca this Friday to face the AHSTW Vikings who are also 3-0 on the season.
The Vikings first matchup came against IKM-Manning, defeating them 32-0 before defeating Earlham 50-28.
The Vikings win last week came against Southwest Valley where they defeated the Timberwolves 28-0.
AHSTW has thrown the ball 48 times for 512 yards and seven touchdowns, with senior Kyle Sternberg the man under center, throwing 28-of-46 passes for 501 yards and all seven touchdowns.
Sternberg also sees his fair share of rushes, taking the ball 20 times so far this season for 150 yards and one touchdown.
Leading the rushing attack, though, is sophomore Luke Sternberg who has carried the ball 44 times for 384 yards and finding the endzone seven times.
Through the air, Kyle Sternberg’s favorite receiver is senior Cole Scheffler who has caught nine passes for 216 yards and three touchdowns with a long of 83.
Brayden Lund and Nick Denning get in on the action as well, with Lund catching seven passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns, while Denning has caught six passes for 88 yards and one touchdown.
On the defense side of the ball, Denning leads the tacklers with 30 total tackles and 27 solo tackles.
The Vikings have only collected one sack in the last three weeks, and seven tackles-for-loss.
Three fumbles have been recovered by the Viking defense, while they have also recorded three interceptions.
On special teams, Kayden Baxter handles kicking duties, good on 12-of-14 points-after-touchdown., while attempting one field goal, but unsuccessful on the attempt.
The game will kick-off at 7 p.m. This Friday, September 16.
